Amplify Africa’s Inaugural Afro Ball Honors African Excellence

Amplify Africa kicked off their inaugural Afro Ball in Los Angeles, CA last month celebrating people of African descent from across the Diaspora who exemplified African Excellence. The Los Angeles Theater in downtown Los Angeles hosted this beautiful event filled with rich vibrant colors and styles on the red carpet while driving conversations about what Africans have contributed to the world and the importance of coming together as a diaspora to create more opportunities that will lead towards social and economic advancement for people of all African descent. Honorees included professionals from various sectors ranging from politics, science, and entertainment.

This event for Africans by Africans was produced by the event organizer, Amplify Africa, whose company mission “is to directly impact the world through innovative African projects in the areas of Entertainment and Media while creating value and driving economic transformation across the African continent.” By aiming to bridge the gap between Africa and the world through events like Afro Ball and other upcoming events, it is clear that it is time for Africa to shine on the global stage and The Africa Channel is proud to have been a media partner for the event! Follow us as we gear up for our next event with Amplify Africa this summer.
